Your internship choices can be obtained from your teachHOUSTON instructor, teachHOUSTONwebsite, or teachHOUSTON department.

Internship Requirements:

1. Intern opportunities are available for any teachHouston student.
2. Interns must have a GPA of 2.25 or above.
3. Internship hours range from 1 hour a week to 20 hours a week.
4. Interns may not work more than 8 hours a day or 20 hours a week.

teachHOUSTON will attempt to match you with your first choice for internship site, but priority will be given to students who have been in the program longer.  You will be contacted by email. You will be offered an internship, but it may not be your first choice.  If your internship site does not work out for any reason, contact Ms. Perri Segura or Dr. Susan Williams at psegura@uh.edu or sewilliams@uh.edu at any time during the semester.  You may try another internship if you wish.
